Nasal filter

Nasal filters were worn to ‘cleanse’ particulates when breathing through the nose. Oral inhibitors were also worn to prevent accidental mouth inhalation of polluted air when travelling through unfiltered air corridors in the period before the Fresh Air Acts of 2105. Airborne pollutants peaked in the late 21c as urban temperatures soared, whilst carbon emissions remained high.
