Tooth protector

This green plastic item which looks like false teeth was in fact a tooth protector. Oil age people used huge amounts of artificially(!) sweetened drinks which decayed their teeth. This tooth protector was inserted into the mouth so the teeth would be encapsulated by the plastic.

(contributed to the Museum by Caroline Wiseman, Aldeburgh)
